🍋 Our Amalfi Coast Girls Trip

The sparkling blue Amalfi Coast — our dream trip backdrop.
I’d always dreamed of a trip along the Amalfi Coast, and this girls getaway turned out even better than I imagined. Between the lemon groves, cliffside villages, turquoise waters, and endless pasta, it felt like a movie. Staying in Sorrento and Meta gave us the best of both worlds: easy day trips and laid-back local vibes.
Day 1: Arrival in Sorrento 🌊
We landed in Naples, hopped on a transfer, and before long we were checking into our hotel in Sorrento. Walking through the narrow streets, we couldn’t stop laughing at how surreal it felt to finally be there together. I’ll never forget sipping my first limoncello shot on a little side street — so tangy it made us all wince and giggle.
Day 2: Capri by Boat 🚤

Blue Grotto magic.
We booked a boat tour to Capri, and honestly, it was one of the best days of the whole trip. Drifting into the Blue Grotto, the water literally glowed neon blue — we all gasped out loud at the same time. In Capri town, we window-shopped at chic boutiques and pretended we could afford the designer sandals (spoiler: we stuck to gelato instead).
Day 3: Positano & Shopping 🛍️

Positano — pastel houses stacked on cliffs, a postcard come to life.
Arriving in Positano felt like stepping into a postcard. The pastel houses stacked on the cliffs were unreal. We spent hours ducking into linen shops and sandal boutiques, and yes, I caved and bought a lemon-print dress that I’ll forever associate with this trip. Lunch overlooking the beach turned into a two-hour photo shoot — every corner begged for a selfie.
Day 4: Cooking Class in Meta 🍝

Rolling gnocchi with Nonna Maria — laughter, flour, and lots of wine.
Taking a cooking class together in Meta was an absolute highlight. Our host, Nonna Maria, taught us how to roll gnocchi from scratch, and we couldn’t stop laughing at how clumsy we were at first. Sitting down to eat what we’d made (with plenty of wine, of course) was the most rewarding dinner of the week.
Day 5: Amalfi & Ravello 🏛️

Amalfi Cathedral’s stunning façade.
The next morning, we ferried to Amalfi. Walking into the cathedral felt like stepping back in time. Later, in Ravello, the gardens were so peaceful we all agreed it felt like a fairytale. We shared limoncello spritzes overlooking the coastline and swore we’d come back for a reunion trip someday.
Day 6: Beach Day in Meta ☀️

Meta beach — spritzes, swims, and sunshine.
After so many adventures, a lazy beach day in Meta was exactly what we needed. We rented chairs at a beach club, ordered Aperol spritzes, and dozed between swims. It was the kind of carefree afternoon where time seemed to stop.
Day 7: Farewell Dinner 🍷

Our farewell dinner — seafood pasta, wine, and endless laughter.
On our last night, we dressed up in our Positano finds for a farewell dinner. Between plates of seafood pasta and bottles of crisp local wine, we kept saying how lucky we were to share this trip. I’ll never forget clinking glasses and promising that this was only the first of many adventures.
Tips from Our Trip ✨
- Pack light & stylish: sundresses and comfy sandals were all we needed.
- Book ferries early for Capri & Positano.
- Don’t skip a cooking class — it’s laughter, wine, and food rolled into one.
- Budget for shopping: ceramics, linen, and sandals were irresistible.
