π΄ One of the best reunion trips!
Thailand was everything we dreamed of and more β a perfect mix of sun, culture, adventure, and laughter. From bustling streets to serene beaches, every day brought a new story.
Day 1β2: Arrival & Bangkok Exploration ποΈ

Vibrant streets of Bangkok welcoming us to Thailand.
Landing in Bangkok, the chaos hit us immediately β scooters zipping past, fragrant street food wafting through the air, and the dazzling lights of the city. We explored Grand Palace and Wat Pho, marveling at the golden spires and the reclining Buddha. Street carts became our first culinary adventure β pad Thai, mango sticky rice, and coconut drinks that felt like heaven in a cup.
Evenings were spent wandering night markets, sampling snacks, and laughing at our attempts to bargain in Thai.
Day 3β4: Phuket Temples & Night Market Magic ππ

Golden details at Wat Chalong β a moment of calm amid the island buzz.
Phuket surprised me with its mix of spiritual calm and colorful chaos. We spent the morning exploring Wat Chalong, the islandβs most famous temple. The intricate gold patterns shimmered in the sunlight, and the scent of incense hung in the air as locals offered flowers and prayers. Standing barefoot on the marble steps, I felt a rare stillness β a beautiful pause in an otherwise lively trip.
By evening, the calm gave way to color and sound at the Phuket Weekend Night Market. We wandered through rows of sizzling food stalls, neon lights, and laughter. I tried mango sticky rice, coconut ice cream served in an actual coconut, and a few things I couldnβt quite identify (but tasted amazing). Between bites, we browsed handmade bags and jewelry β and bargained like pros.

A feast for all senses β Phuketβs night market energy.
It was one of those nights that perfectly summed up Thailand: temples by day, street food and laughter by night.
Day 5: Island Adventure β Phi Phi & Maya Bay π€

Crystal waters and towering limestone cliffs β pure magic.
We booked a boat tour to Phi Phi Islands, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Swimming in turquoise waters, snorkeling among schools of fish, and laughing when a cheeky monkey tried to steal our snacks β this day was pure joy.
We ended the day with a sunset picnic on the boat, sipping cocktails and taking in the cliffs bathed in golden light.
Day 6: Cooking Class & Cultural Fun π

Rolling spring rolls and laughing together β our cooking class in Phuket.
One of my favorite memories: a Thai cooking class. Our chef, Noi, was patient as we chopped, stirred, and rolled spring rolls (some perfect, some hilariously misshapen). Sharing a meal weβd created, paired with local wine, was such a bonding moment.
Day 7: Farewell Bangkok & Street Farewell π

One last sunset over the Chao Phraya River.
We returned to Bangkok for our last evening. Street carts, night markets, and tuk-tuks became our farewell backdrop. Sitting by the river, sipping coconut water, and reminiscing about our week, it was clear this trip wasnβt just about seeing Thailand β it was about laughing, exploring, and making memories with friends that will last a lifetime.
