I am a 28 y/o who codes, teaches about code and occasionally does some fun robot stuff. I love the beach, drive-in movies and all baby animals.
I grew up in Kuwait, lived in Mumbai for a little & I am currently based in Montreal, Canada.
My area of focus lies in developing web apps end-to-end. Starting with the clients requirements to design & develop a product to sate their needs. I also work to deploy & maintain these products. I enjoy designing and coding the UI as much as talking with users to iterate and improve the experiences that reach business goals.
About MeOver 3+ years of software development & client management experience. I have worked in a startup environment & in the higher education industry. Well versed in both Mobile & Web apps. I've also been a tutor for Python, Java & Web development for 2 years. I believe in constantly learning, which is why teaching someone is the best way to cement your own fundamentals. It is rare that you come across a standout developer like Tanveer. I had the opportunity to work with her during our internship together at Swabhav Techlabs. I was always in awe of how effortlessly she broke down complex problems into simple tasks. Also, her persistence in debugging a roadblock was particularly impressive. Tanveer & I are childhood friends which means I’ve seen a lot of her work- from writing her first piece of code in a highschool CS class we took together, to developing the website for her e-commerce business, PostYourLove (a team I am lucky to be a part of!). She is extremely hard working & remains focused through all the hardships we face while setting up this business. She always brings fresh ideas to the table and is an excellent teacher (she’s tutored me through several CS courses!)- which shows how well she knows her stuff.
